Epically stupid laptop. (And me)

Because I’ve used up so much space on my laptop, I now have only 20gigs left of 90. I think I’ll get an external hard drive when Christmas comes around. Now, why this has annoyed me so much is because now Photoshop Lightroom won’t load up my RAW photos, which is VERY annoying at the moment. I’ll install Windows on this new hard drive (probably XP SP2) and start a-fresh. Alex’s laptop works fine with LR at the momet, but mine is severely slow. Probably doesn’t help that we only have 0.99gigs of RAM.

Motorhead \m/

Motorhead last night was absolutely epic. We were standing throughout the whole thing, and everyone else in the sitting area was sitting, so he said “Stand up you lazy cunts, it’s not fucking Shakespeare is it?, you two, yes, you two, you’ve been standing up for the whole thing, thank you!” So Lemmy spoke to us
The Damned opened for them, and ‘Captain Sensible’ (guitarist) was testing out the spotlight, and shone it on us, we waved and he stuck his two fingers up at us, haha.

When Motorhead played Overkill at the end, it was unbelievably good. They played it extended for about 8 minutes, strobe lights flashing, crazy lights. And the drum solo, WOW, Mikkey Dee is amazing. He soloed for about 5 minutes straight without stopping, he was AMAZING. His drum kit was huge too. I saw loads of guitars and basses behind the amps, but Lemmy only used his 1 bass, and Phil Campbell (guitarist) only used 3 guitars, a white Les Paul, a green Les Paul and a X shaped, I think it may have been a Kramer but I’m not entirely sure. Captain Sensible from the Damned seemed to be using an LTD (lower grade of ESP).

The Damned: “Having a good night?”
Audience: “YEAH”
The Damned: “Better than fucking Simon Cowell and xfactor isn’t it?”
Audience: “YEAH”
The Damned: “This song’s called ’smash it up’, and I hope Simon Cowel does take this advice”

Lazy days.

Still ill, I’ll be fully recovered for Motorhead tomorrow night though

I’m having a lazy day playing Call of Duty 4 online, eating food, blogging and editing. I made a new Playstation Account, new online username is Timn96-  (Yes, with the hyphen at the end). I got fed up with my old one “breaddah” I suck at gaming, but it’s fun.

The weather is extremely bland today. This is the type of weather I hate. Completely solid grey sky. I’d prefer it if it was a huge thunderstorm. I don’t mind cold weather, it’s nice sometimes if it’s really cold but really sunny. I don’t really have anything against winter.

Motorhead tomorrow (25th Nov 09), I can’t wait. I won’t be ill tomorrow, trust me. I’m in school tomorrow, leave the house at 7:45am, won’t get back until 1am. Then I have two random days off on Thursday and Friday for some unknown reason (thanks school!) So I’ll have Thursday to be lazy and recover, then I’m supposed to be going and seeing the film 2012 with my friends on Friday o_o

Yet another blog post… “Can I help you?”

What spurred this off was my friend telling me that when they were in an airport a few years ago, they had lost something so they went to the lost property desk and queued for about 30 minutes to be helped, then when the person at the desk asked his Dad “Can I help you?” his Dad said “No, OBVIOUSLY NOT! I obviously DO NOT need help even though I have been WAITING HERE FOR HALF AN HOUR!!”

That got me thinking. I was buying some cookies the other day (omnomnom) and I was queuing, and the lady goes “Can I help you?” and I started laughing hysterically, because it’s the most stupid question you could ever ask when in a shop, when there’s someone standing there, with money, looking at the frickin’ cookies, talking to his friend about which one to buy!

I just thought I’d share that with you.
